How to turn-off Windows Firewall?


Windows Firewall is essential for blocking viruses, hackers and malicious softwares from accessing and altering the normal operation of your computer. But there are times that you need to turn-off Windows Firewall. For example, your computer can’t connect to a network. Or you can’t join a LAN-based game. Or a software requires you to turn-off your Windows Firewall in order to be installed. So now I’ll be teaching you how to turn-off your windows Firewall.









Step 1: Click Start.

Step 2: Click on Control Panel.

Step 3: Click on Windows Firewall.

Step 4: Click on Turn Windows Firewall on or off

Step 5: Click on “Turn off Windows Firewall (not recommended)” under “Home or work (private) network location settings”.


Step 6: Click on “Turn off Windows Firewall (not recommended)” under “Public network location settings”.

Step 7: Then click OK.

Take note that it is recommended to have your Windows Firewall turned-on.
