My Top 2 Web Browsers

Whether you want to check and read emails, listen to music, watch your favourite videos from YouTube, chitchat with your friends using your preferred Instant Messaging service, or socialize using many social networking sites, whatever you do online you always use a web browser. Web browsers are crucial for accessing our lives online. Through web browsers, intensive research of information is possible, at a blazing speed. Indeed, full internet potentials could not be harvest without a web browser.

Nowadays, web browsers come into different shapes. From user interface designs down to the way a user experiences the web. From the first web browsers way back 1990’s, ample improvements are very noticeable. Most web browsers now offer better browsing reliability, faster web browsing and rich web experience. Minor features might include password and credentials manager, auto fill feature and private browsing session (a feature loved by people with sneaky browsing :D). So now I will show you my 2 top and favourite web browsers.

Top 1: Google Chrome

Simply beautiful – these two words will surely describe Google Chrome’s totality. Since the release of Google Chrome in 2008 and until now, I always use it. What I love with Google Chrome is its blazing fast start up. Just a split of a second after launching it, you’re ready to go. Google Chrome is from the leading Search Engine Company, Google. It uses the WebKit Layout Engine. Chrome is the third most widely used browser in the world.

If you’re just a mere internet surfer you do not need those “thick tool bars”(just like in Mozilla), all you need is the address bar(so called Omnibox). Speaking of address bar(Omnibox), did you know that Google Chrome’s address bar is also a search bar? Yes, you can punch in search terms on the address bar and hit enter to google it.If you’re tired of Chrome’s minimalistic interface design, you can install great themes from Google’s Web Store. And if you want to extend the existing capabilities of Chrome, then you should try installing some extensions that suit your needs. So if you decide to install and use Google Chrome, you computer must be running Microsoft Windows (XP, Vista or 7) with a minimum processing power 1.6ghz, must have at least 1GB Hard Disk and a minimum RAM of 128mb.

Google Chrome is the best browser for me.

Top 2: Mozilla Firefox

Firefox is powerful. If you are a web developer, you will surely choose Mozilla Firefox’s developer tools among the rest.Mozilla Firefox is a free and open source web browser from Mozilla Corporation. It is the second most widely used web browser in the world with over 35% of users next to Internet Explorer. Features of Mozilla Firefox includes spell-checker and browsing using tabs. It has also a download manager that supports pause-resume downloading. Its functions can be widen out through the use of different extensions developed by third party developers. Firefox runs on cross-platform operating system, so don’t worry if you have OS other than Windows, like Linux and Mac OS X. The latest stable release of Firefox is the 5.0. The user interface resembles much to Google Chromes’ interface. If you wanted to use Firefox your system must be running Microsoft Windows(2000, XP, Vista or 7), Linux or Mac OS X. If you want to change the “look and feel” of Firefox, you can choose from thousands of Firefox Personas online.
